Our owner, Amy-Lee Schull, brings a wealth of experience to Assistive Sister. With a background in hospitality, customer service, administration, bookkeeping, and nursing, Amy-Lee has the skills and knowledge to understand and address the unique needs of small businesses. She holds a Certificate 3 in Business Administration and Management, a Diploma of Nursing, and a Bachelor of Nursing. As a registered nurse and a small business owner herself, Amy-Lee has over 15 years of administration, management, and bookkeeping experience.
Inspiration Behind Our Business
The inspiration for Assistive Sister came from the daunting world of online business development. Many quotes for website creation were exorbitant and came with binding support contracts, which wasn't feasible for small businesses with limited cash flow. Having successfully built my own online presence, I saw the opportunity to offer affordable, high-quality services. Additionally, I recognized that other small business owners shared the same concerns about hiring employees for occasional tasks.

At Assistive Sister, our mission is clear: To provide help and professional support for businesses. We understand the challenges and financial constraints faced by businesses in Australia, and our goal is to empower them to achieve their dreams without the burden of excessive costs.

Our Journey:
Assistive Sister was born out of a personal experience. As a fellow business owner, I knew the struggle of deciding when to bring on an employee and whether it was the right time. I recognized that not every business needs a full-time team member, and tasks often vary widely in scope and frequency. This realisation led to the creation of Assistive Sister, where we offer a diverse range of services and skills. We provide the flexibility to opt in and out as needed, working around your schedule and budget.

Currently, I am furthering my knowledge by studying for a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
